To truly evolve and expand, we must all commit to being our own presidents, and hold ourselves accountable to living out our most elevated doctrines. ✨Step up to the plate of public office in your own life. Upgrade the leader in your mind. In the same way a president is meant to elevate the collective, ELEVATE YOURSELF! ✨Write the Preamble of your Soul. Rediscover the Constitution of your Heart. Write an Inauguration Speech of the Highest Vision. ✨Read it out loud. Post it on social media. Don't listen to those that say posting online isn't enough or it's a waste of energy. Speak your truth child! Keep talking about a beautiful future aligned with the rhythms of Mother Earth. The more you do, the more you help to raise the collective vibration, and the more you align yourself with opportunities to create action and change.
2 of Wands Rx paired w/ Myrh reminds you that what you focus on, grows. When you shift your attention on how abundant you are, you harness a great power. As the saying goes, "love what you have, and you'll have more love." When you fully embody this truth, and greet your physical world daily with gratitude, you amplify your potential to draw in even more abundance and opportunities to expand your horizons.
My North Node in Aries paired w/ 2 of Wands encourages me to stand strong in my independence, to let go of the co-dependent need to be acknowledged or praised by others. When you own your power as an individual, you create a foundation in which to securely step outside of your comfort zone and explore new worlds and new experiences without the need for approval. My goal for the future is to nurture my confidence in all my creative ventures.
"where in my life can I offer love to my judgments?" 2 of Wands
Here we see a CONFIDENT looking dude overlooking a vast terrain. Judging by his posture and also the sturdy castle, this guy is very GROUNDED in who he is. He wears a red cloak, the color of the ROOT CHAKRA. The mountains off in the distance give a very SOLID feeling. I've seen this card many times and for the first time I noticed a minor detail reinforcing this idea of STURDINESS. If you look closely at the wand on the right you will see near the base it is securely fastened by a clasp into the concrete of the castle. This wand is locked in and is not going anywhere. Pretty powerful considering wands=fire, symbolizing an internal heat building momentum. This whole scene is so in CONTROL and EMPOWERING.
There's such a strong message in this card in regards to the question of the day. The WORLD is your MIRROR. Be strong in who you are. When you have the urge to judge someone's shortcomings it may be a sign that you are neglecting some vital aspect of your life. Pay attention to your judgments. What do they have to say about you? Use this as inspiration to work on yourself. Lead by example. Step into your ROLE OF AUTHORITY. You will be so busy being the person you are meant to be that you won't have time for judgments.
Seeing as how this guy holds the world in his hand, it has me thinking about the judgments I make on other's relationship to the planet. For example, when people unnecessarily use plastic I get ANGRY and fall in to judgments. But in reality, I still use plastic almost every day, in some way or another. I've been working on being more conscious and have figured out ways to almost entirely eliminate unnecessary plastic. I still have work to do on myself. It's like that MJ song "man in the mirror." If we channel that outward wand energy, anger, to being more internal, it will transform into PASSION to fuel us into being more aligned with the living EMBODIMENT of our greatest POTENTIAL. This is really how you make an impact on the world. Use your judgments as a compass to looking deep within to your own actions and motives.
Two of Wands.
Okay…so I gotta come clean. I’ve always been super RESISTANT to (even annoyed by) IG Challenges. Nothing was worse to me than my newsfeed being flooded by daily yoga poses, inspirational quotes, and people’s meals. But last month, @bakaraw posted #bwtarotchallenge. On the night she posted, I had a heavy feeling on my heart about not using my energy (wands) to its fullest potential to make impact on the world #aquariusrising. Not saying participating in a tarot challenge will bring World Peace, but something called me to participate.
I pulled the 3 OF SWORDS. I felt a tug of RESTITANCE to sharing. Tarot's always been very personal. I’ve only shared with myself or safe groups. I almost backed out of the challenge, but I decided to stick to the commitment. Then I pulled THE DEVIL and THE SIX OF SWORDS. I almost backed out again and again. I kept pulling the cards I didn’t want to write about. I stuck to the challenge. With each post, I felt my heart get a little lighter. I began connecting, following the journeys of others, and my heart grew softer. From completely RESISTING, to now here I am only a month later hosting a TAROT CHALLENGE of my own with @wildsoulheaing….never saw this one coming.
RESISTANCE is what we do to protect ourselves from truly healing. We resist to keep from the AWARENESS of our greatest potential.
TWO OF WANDS is about the realization of our potential and stepping into our personal power. I pulled this card last week for the Full Moon, “What do I need to prepare for the winter?” Seeing this again is just further confirmation to continue to use social media platforms for sharing.
We hold very POWERFUL TOOLS in the palm of our hands. Just like the figure in the TWO OF WANDS holds the world, we too hold power…our i-phones. Over the next month let’s honor how beautiful of a time we live in that we can speak our mind, share our truth, and connect to the world. Let's step up together into our PERSONAL POWER for this #bkfoolstarotchallenge to harness our innate energy so that we may use the tarot to bring peace to our lives, and those around us.
What do I need to prepare for the winter? Two of Wands.
THE FUTURE IS NOW! Are you AWAKE to this MAGICAL TRUTH? We've incarnated during a time in human history where we have the POWER to CONNECT with MILLIONS of people through a tiny light up box that sits in the palm of our hands! Like WHAT?! Does this not blow your fucking mind? If you don't have a chance to go look at the full moon tonight, at least take a few seconds to fathom how INCREDIBLE it is that you have a SMART phone.
We see here this guy holds a globe in his hand and looks out on the vast land that surrounds. The 2015 version: this is you holding an iPhone aka the key to the world. The Two of Wands is very much a card of owning your power and stepping into a role of authority. When it shows up in readings, it often points to huge long term shifts like furthering education, moving abroad, or starting a new project.
My first thought when I turned this card over for what to prepare for the winter... "global connection." There's been a lot of pain and injustices happening globally, especially the past month. It is scary and horrible and painfully devastating to witness the hatred and racism still existing around the world. At least we have been gifted tools to connect and express our frustrations. If we really step into our power, like the figure shown on this card, we can shed light to these injustices. If we chose to come from a heart-centered space we can make ripple effects of peace throughout the world.
The Two of Wands is inspiring me to be more persistent with my pursuit to connect globally. This winter I am preparing more online platforms for teaching and sharing my knowledge of tarot so that I can reach more than just New York City. If you're interested in connecting and learning how the tarot can be used as a tool for empowerment, creativity, and reconnecting, I'd love to hear from you.
