SEVEN OF PENTACLES
Investing your energy towards your child-like curiosity sets you on a path of deep fulfillment. When you allow yourself the freedom to play and explore, you release deep emotions and subconscious fears blocking you from fully nurturing the seeds you've been so busy planting. Keep showing up for yourself. Keep sending love to your inner-child. Be patient with the process. By committing to this practice, over time you will reap the benefits of a life filled with more joy, softness, and simple pleasures.
Venus enters Aquarius: "How does nurturing beauty and love inspire innovative ideas for the future?" 7 of Pentacles. ✨What you focus on grows. When you chose to direct your energy towards inviting beauty into your life, you set yourself on a loving path. The effects may not be instantaneous, nor is this always easy. The process is a labor of love. Every day is a new opportunity to remind yourself, "Today, I choose to make a conscience effort to focus on love." If you can commit to this practice, to surround yourself daily with opportunities to connect, over time you will begin to notice the seeds you've been planting are flourishing into a crop filling you with lightness, trust, and hope. All of these qualities raise your vibration and open you up to a deeper sense of inspiration. Keep up the good work and you will expand your creativity, coming up with innovative ideas for a future filled with more opportunities to attract beauty into your life and the lives of others. ✨You can use your cards to meditate on the soul's potential for expansion during this transit. Venus = Empress; Aquarius = The Star. Quite a magical, healing duo.
During this transit, you will greatly benefit from practicing patience in your communication. Don't waste energy on topics or conversations not feeding your soul. Be easy. Be chill. If others want to be aggressive, argue, or gossip, sit back + watch. Specifically in regards to the political climate, just observe, then come back to your work, to your projects, to your practice. When you allow yourself to listen first, you open yourself up to truly connecting to your voice. When you work on you, and focus your energy on the areas of your life aligned with your path, you communicate to the world through your presence. This shifts your vibration to self-worth and opens you up to greatly reaping the benefits of your hard working patience.
A message from my inner-child.
a 21-day self-love mirror gazing challenge he's doing hosted by #louisehay. One of the concepts blew me away. Just by simply tacking on the little phrase, "I'm learning to..." to the front of any affirmation, you create so much space for compassion + understanding. ✨My inner-child is reminding me he's patient with my adult process. It's okay for me to relearn gentleness. Inner-child work is a growing practice, that when tended to daily will organically grow + support you. "Jeffrey, I'm learning to nurture you. I'm learning to let you kick + scream, play and be free. I'm learning to be patient + understanding. My sweet inner-child, I'm learning to love you."
DAY 18. Temperance asks, "What does Rebirth mean to me?" Rebirth is NOT instantaneous. There usually is an "aha!" moment that completely shifts the trajectory of your life, but as you say 'goodbye' to the old self it TAKES TIME. Just like you are experiencing a "death" you'll go through your own grieving process: anger, guilt, anxiety, shame, sadness, regret, jealousy, disappointment, fear. It's totally cool though because you've already taken the time to check in with your heart, and you know and feel that by saying 'goodbye' to the old you, the old habits, relationship, job, or scenario you've felt stuck in for years, is really just you saying 'YAAASS' to life!
In yoga philosophy, "samskaras" are DEEPLY ENGRAINED PATTERNS on our psyches. As we make our way through life, that little harmless comment your friend Debbie made in first grade music class about you singing out of tune has now somehow manifested into you being completely terrified of speaking your truth. We keep experiencing the same scenarios over and over again, reinforcing samskaras, creating grooves in our psyche, making it nearly impossible to resist. This can begin to shut us down creatively, emotionally, spiritually. It can even get so extreme as manifesting as a dis-ease in the body.
So what do we do? How do we break ourselves free from these reruns of self-debilitating habits? How do we experience a 'REBIRTH?' The 7 of Pentacles.
You'll see here a young man gazes at his crops. They're not yet ready to be harvested, but they are in the PROCESS OF GROWING (and will eventually make him money, as denoted by the coins). He will experience RESISTANCE from the weather (the old habits and patterns), but each morning he wakes up to tend to his crops because he KNOWS in his heart that come HARVEST, his HARD WORK, DEDICATION, and PATIENCE will have paid off.
Whatever RESISTANCE you are feeling in regards to LETTING GO, acknowledge its power from years of conditioning. And then keep on keeping on with your BADASS self and step into your truth. It's not easy work, it's legit physical labor, but keep working on it. With FAITH and PERSISTENCE YOU WILL REAP THE BENEFITS!
