QUEEN OF CUPS
What was the lesson of November? Queen of Cups.
In the "Japanese Art of Decluttering," Marie Kondo explains that when discarding items from your home, focus on what you HOLD onto, not on what you get rid of. By doing this, you discover a new sense of joy for the items you choose to keep...this makes them SACRED.
The Queen of Cups is doing just this. She HOLDS onto her one precious cup and gazes at it with reverence. Cups in the tarot represent the watery aspects of life: relationships and emotions. Queens bring a nurturing quality to the suit. Thus, the Queen of Cups nurtures relationships and emotions.
This month, yes I've been decluttering my apartment, but its really been a metaphor for something deeper. By focusing on what in your life you'd like to hold on to physically, you also shift the energy by releasing old hurt and stagnant energy. The process of decluttering heals deep emotions and aligns yourself on a path of creating sacred connections, both to your self and those around you. This month has been a process of nurturing my emotions and decluttering my heart.
I feel very grateful for this experience. Thank you @bakaraw for putting together the #bwtarotchallenge. It's been powerful and inspiring to connect with my deck and with everyone else. 🙏
We are all gifted with the innate ability to connect with our intuition. This ancient wisdom moves through us with every breath we take. If we give ourselves permission to nurture and tune in to this cosmic inheritance, we remind ourselves just how interconnected we are with all of life, however great or small. From every blade of grass, to every star in the sky. ✨By carving out space every day to tune into the planets, I learned so much about how much I already knew. I re-discovered buried truths and healed old wounds, aligning me with a greater sense and confidence of my intuitive abilities! This was the first time I had ever paired tarot and astrology quite like this, and it was such an honor to facilitate for those of you who poured your heart + soul into the #bktarotscope challenge! So grateful we are all able to connect, learn, and grow together!
Consider the ways in which you interact with beauty. What are you aesthetically drawn to? Do you surround yourself with its presence? How might you invite more beauty into your everyday? ✨Oct 18 // Venus enters Sagittarius. How does my relationship to beauty expand my horizons? ✨The Queen of Cups Reversed shows herself as a reminder that there is unlocked potential to touch in with your emotions. When you allow yourself time and space to meditate on beauty, you set yourself up for tapping into the softer side of life. ✨Today, gift yourself the opportunity to find beauty in an object or in nature. Spend time meditating on this chosen item. Spend ten minutes gazing into this rediscovered beauty; a tree, a flower, a piece of jewelry you love, a work of art, a lover. ✨Whatever it is you find totally captivating and gorgeous, allow yourself time to merge with this item.
