PAGE OF SWORDS
Tarot Check-in: Day 21 of a Paleo challenge w/ CrossFit. I’m committed to 30 days of no processed foods, gluten, wheat, or sugar, while going to CrossFit 5 times a week. And then add on, VEGAN. So, no meats or animal products either. Three weeks in seems like a good time to check in. With something goal oriented, it’s helpful to check in no more than once every two weeks. This way you can track your growth and aren’t relying heavily on the cards as support.
PAGE OF SWORDS.
PAGES represent YOUNG, FRESH, and EXCITED energy + SWORDS represent INTELLECTUAL realm. So, the PAGE OF SWORDS is super stoked on NEW IDEAS, LEARNING, and SHARING that information with others. You’ll notice the flock of birds flying high in the sky. You’ll also notice it’s very WINDY. The trees are blown to one side, his long hair is in the AIR, and the ocean looks choppy. This shows the SURGE of ENERGY this Page has when starting a project. Pulling this card gives me 3 major points to reflect on.
1. This challenge may not hold out. This page has the tendency to start off projects well, but he can get bored. The ethereal clouds suggest daydreams.
2. Notice the way he holds the sword, not as a weapon, but rather dainty. This indicates the PAGE doesn’t know how to correctly hold the sword. He's PRONE TO INJURY.
3. The clouds, as mentioned before, are ethereal, but if you check your science textbook, you may compare them to cumulus clouds which look a lot like cauliflower (which I’ve eaten lots of). When cumulus clouds grow upwards, which here they are, they can develop into cumulonimbus, a thunderstorm cloud. Another warning the future could hold TURBULENCE.
Overall, the PAGE OF SWORDS tells me I am very YOUNG and NEW at both VEGAN PALEO and CROSS-FIT. Enjoy that NEWNESS and EXCITEMENT, but also, do some research. Am I getting all of the nutrients I need to sustain 5 days of weight lifting and heavy endurance? Am I in the right body alignment when lifting? The last thing I need is an injury. GREAT REMINDER to be more MINDFUL and CAREFUL as I continue this challenge. If it’s something I want to continue, I will have to EDUCATE myself more on this practice.
