KNIGHT OF CUPS
ou've been sent here to this planet to be of service to humanity. Remind yourself daily, "I am a messenger of love. My actions come from the heart." Surrender your need for approval. Allow your choices to reflect peace and harmony. You are a gift from God. ✨Day 16 of #bkfoolschallenge. The Hanged Man asks, "What aspect of your life are you ready to fully surrender to?" ✨This has been one of my greatest lessons as a tarot reader. When I offer a reading to another person, time and time again I have to remind myself that I am of service, "a messenger of love." It takes a daily practice to let go of my ego when giving readings, to surrender my own wants and desires to be seen, loved, and approved. When I find my mind wondering to, "What if they don't like what I say? What if I don't connect with them? What if they hate what I offer? What if I make a fool of myself?", I very lovingly bring my focus back to the heart. I take a deep breath here and remind myself, "my actions come from a place of love." I am a tarot reader because I know the healing perspective and benefits this practice has brought to my life, and I deeply desire to share this gift with others. ✨Whatever it is you offer to others, bring it back to the heart. Surrender to the power of love.
Knight of Cups paired w/ Arfvedsonite. This Full Moon is upgrading you w/ the powerful ability to bring emotional healing. If you gift yourself w/ a good nights sleep + clean food, your energetic healing capabilities will amplify. Breathe into your third eye. What color do you see? Imagine this color moving through your limbs. Embrace your friends with this color. Shake a strangers hand. Imagine this healing light moving from you to them. These interactions plug you in + recharge your spirit, removing obstacles in your way to manifesting the life you desire.
The sun's been in Cancer for a few weeks now (since June 22 to be exact), and we only have one more week in its presence. I like to honor the sun's energy by pulling out the tarot card that correlates. (CANCER is CARDINAL WATER which makes its court-card equivalent the KNIGHT OF CUPS.) *In short, Knights deliver messages + harness the energy of their suit. The Cups tell the story of love: friendship, family, celebration, romance, dreams, + emotions.
This synergy creates a healing vibration of loving energy. The KNIGHT OF CUPS delivers KINSHIP, NOSTALGIA, + ROMANCE. He offers an EMOTIONAL approach to ACTION. Within his reigns he holds the powerful force to CLEANSE broken families + HEAL complicated relationships. He invites us into an empowered space where we learn to harness our watery, emotional, + psychic energy so we can move forward to create beautiful harmonious relationships.
During the cancer season, we dive into a pool of family values, memory, + traditions of the past. Even though nature beckons, we are together- rather than individually-oriented at this time. The ritual of summer BBQ, family vacation, beach trips, pool days, bike rides, long days, sunsets, LIVE music, drinking, dancing, + leisure activities brings everyone together. There is softness + a nurturing quality to our approach that solidifies the ties of kinship and of individual security within the family circle.
However, you may notice our crabby nature, need for control, + past hurts surfacing from the deep waters at this time. Nothing like a good ole family reunion to remind you of all your hidden, darker traits.
During this time of year, call upon the Knight of Cups to assist you with HEALING relationships, speaking from your heart, letting go of control, and moving forward from PAST HURT. I pair the Knight of Cups with Opalite bc it is perfectly suited to the Cancer season. Opalite improves relationships of all kinds + soothes cares away. Together these two can help RELEASE spiritual + emotional debris, lending the strength in to verbalize hidden feelings. Happy healing crabby apples
body: knight of cups. Quite a contrast from yesterday with the knight of swords representing mind. If you put them next to each other in chronological order they face opposite directions. Perhaps a separation between mind and body? I am a very physical person and I am starting a new weight lifting regimen Wednesday, so seeing this gentle card is a good reminder to slow down and be nurturing to my body. And to drink lots of water.
