FIVE OF WANDS
Deeply engrained instinctual patterns form based off of past-trauma, usually to help protect us from reliving hurt. The placement of your moon can often indicate areas in which you may find yourself stuck in these cycles, and how you've learned to process your emotions based off these experiences. ✨7th House directly relates to issues with relating to other people. When the moon is here, as she moves through cycles, it can indicate the changing of partners and friendships if deeply held emotions aren't fully processed. Virgo processes emotions through organization and cataloging. This pairing gives a very perfectionist emotional nature in regards to relationships. This could manifest as being overly critical of self + others, holding grudges, and an underlying sense of insecurity. ✨5 of Wands says, "Being overly critical is a misuse of energy. Drop the mental drama around perfectionism, and process emotions through productive forms of hard work. Stay busy working on something of service to the world, instead of competing or fussing with others. When you do, this will bring organization to life and a sense of structure, forming the foundation for balanced emotions + intimate partnerships with others who will fully witness you (6 of wands) and your emotions." Great reminder! I have some homework to do.
The Moon asks, "How do I honor mystery in my life?" The 5 of Wands REVERSED. "I haven't actually met a Donald Trump supporter in the flesh, so it's hard for me to even believe such a human exists." This little comment spiraled into a long debate with my family. Yeh, it got HEATED (wands=fire), but the reality is none of us really know what we're talking about. Lol. Like I could go on and on about my views on gun policy or healthcare, but really, I'm not THAT educated. This sort of heated "uneducated" debate reminds me of the 5 of Wands, an argument for argument sake. But what's important to note, this card never gets too malicious (unless paired with more violent cards). You can see it's pretty obvious none of the guys are on the same team. It's almost comical, to the point of, "Yeh, we get it. They're dressed completely different." But what they do share is their age. They appear to be young, lending them a PAGE of WANDS energy (joyful adventure, fiery desire). This makes the group playful and fair, as opposed to being different ages, an unequal playing field, in which a King may knock out a Page.
When 5 of Wands shows up REVERSED it shows rising above petty conflict by not putting energy into varying points of view.
So yeh, my family had a "debate" and we're on different teams, but it doesn't mean we can't enjoy our time together. My views may be asinine to them, but underneath our FIRE we share a PASSION for LIVING. 😆
This is SO important to remember in regards to the question of the day. When it comes to MYSTERY, we honor it by rising above OPPOSITION. Hone in on what you feel in your HEART to be true. If the presence of a butterfly means a visit from grandma or if the number 22 reassures your path, you don't have to EXPLAIN it to anyone. If you find a dime whenever you think about a particular person or if you believe in life after death, you don't have to prove yourself (like they're all trying to do on this card). The more you question your own understanding of mystery, the more you will attract COMPETITION in your life that will CHALLENGE you to prove your truth.
Relax about it. The great MYSTERIES of life are for you, and you alone.
