ACE OF SWORDS
What role does creativity play in your life? Ace of Swords ✨Growing up in the church + as a gay man in the South, I've encountered beliefs and opinions damaging to my own personal path. However, these experiences of being judged, excluded, or even condemned are exactly the right combination of elements needed to temper my soul + sharpen my own sword of personal truth. ✨When you drown out the noise of others, you can begin to tap into the loving vibration of the universe. This is your birthright, to come home to this Truth. When you're able to plug in with this all-pervasive source every day, you'll find yourself fully empowered, embodying the traits of the Ace of Sword: mental clarity, fearlessness, perspective, and of course, the ability to cut through the bull shit! ✨The tarot is a truly helpful tool for tapping into the healing frequency of Universal Truth. I hope to continue to share my own experience to this cosmic connection through everything I CREATE: from the songs I sing and books I write, to the clothes I wear and posts I share. ✨Remember, your CREATIVITY is a unique expression of your soul. You have a right to be heard. Keep speaking your truth! Keep creating beauty! It's a big reason why we're all here on Earth.
The High Priestess asks, "What is the deepest message within me?" ✨You hold within you the loving vibration of the universe. Tune out the noise of the world around you, and breathe into this all-pervasive Truth. When you find your beliefs, philosophies, or ideas being challenged, tap back into this Source. You hold within you all of the brilliant answers fit to bring balance and harmony into your own life. Fully trust in your ability to intuitively connect to your higher wisdom. When you do, you'll be empowered and stand strong in your convictions. Keep at it! You're doing great!
his Lapis Lazuli is extremely powerful and was very intuitively picked out for me by crystal queen @bakaraw during the first Brooklyn Fool's journey a few years back. I call it my Teacher's Stone and hold it when I'm releasing self-doubt around communication. Working with its very grounding energy I am able to step forward into a place of empowerment around my ability to form words. Holding it during meditation quiets my mind and allows me to connect with my intuition. I pulled a card for, "what is this stone here to teach me?" and I drew the Ace of Swords, of course! This is 100% in line with what I've intuited about its' healing properties. Lapis is a stone of communication that brings truthfulness, openness, and mental clarity. It is used to help trust-in and communicate your highest Truth.
Last night I had to make a very difficult decision with my head. This made my heart very sad.
Our hearts hold great wisdom. Yet, sometimes what feels like inner knowing is really an emotional response. When our emotions take over in decision-making, we do not think as clearly (see Day 10: King of Cups reversed). It is important to differentiate between what is truly intuition versus emotional attachment. So how do we do this? How do we know when to make a decision from our head not our heart?
The Magician, number 1, is a clear channel of manifestation (see Day 6). The Aces being 1's hold the same raw potential as the Magician, but in their individual suit. The Ace of Swords represents a clear vision with the power to assert it into the world.
So we do exactly that...get clear on our vision, then act with conviction. The Ace of Swords is a strong sign for this emotional New Moon to put aside feelings for a moment and ask, “What choice is going to take me toward my vision and is most aligned with my values?” It says to be more specific about goals and write out plans of action. Be confident and stand strong, this will bring a great deal of clarity and empowerment.
