DAY 10: How can I love myself more deeply? Ace of Cups
Love is abundant and ever-flowing. Everyday is a new opportunity to see her in the face of a stranger. Sense her ever-present glow surround you, even in every single blade of grass. Open yourself up. Let her permeate your soul. Send this love right back to everyone + everything. Even if it scares you. Even if you're hurt or suffering. Know love is an overflowing river moving both ways. Create a stream from your heart to the world. When you love the world around you more deeply, you in turn love yourself. This is your birthright.
Ace of Cups Reversed paired with Opalite indicates heavy spiritual debris from your past getting in the way of fully stepping into a place of empowerment. The focus for you isn’t on becoming clear about your goals, but rather releasing energetic ties holding you back. If you're ruminating on hurt from a complicated relationship, the invitation is to be present with your emotions. Fully breathe in, listen, and breathe out. Hold space for this watery energy. If you're gentle, you will create space for new harmonious connections more aligned with your path.

There's construction going on right above my apartment. The building, except for my apartment, is being gut renovated, including the hallway outside my front door. This morning after I walked the dogs I was planning to go home and crank out work from my laptop. Upon my arrival I realized the power had been cut off for the second day in a row without warning. Pretty annoyed but keeping my cool, I'm like well...I'll just make a smoothie and then find a cafe with wifi. No big deal. So I put all my ingredients in the blender and push the pulverize button...and....nothing. FUCK! The power's out! Duh! I screamed so loud the entire building shook. Poor little George the Yorkie ran under the coffee table and put his little head down.
When the Ace of Cups shows up reversed, it often points to an OUTPOURING of EMOTIONS. Seeing it here for "how does magic play a role in my life" is a good reminder. I spend a lot of time trying to cultivate peace and balance. After I post this, I'm heading off to teach a candle lit restorative yoga class, but just a few hours ago I was screaming my head off. Often things are brought into our life to test the skills we cultivate. I know in my heart and soul that magic exists everywhere: seeds shaped like a star inside an apple, the sacred hexagonal cell honeybees construct to hold their honey, the unconditional love of a dog. Magic is all around us, and just like a hand from the sky presenting an overflowing cup, it's up to us to determine how we will react to it. Can you find the magic in the construction noise? In the power outage? To still trust the magic you know that lives within your heart when shit hits the fan is where true fulfillment and happiness reside (ace of cups upright)
